The Ayzon Foundation is a non-profit organization that connects NGOs and social change causes with motivated, talented volunteers that offer their time and talents for free. Ayzon envisions a world in which individuals and organizations committed to social change have complete access, via a pro bono service under its different programs, to the design, consultancy, and construction of different infrastructures they require.
Their vision is to reduce the burden of extreme poverty by focusing on areas where they can make the most difference and to assist people around the world to live healthy, productive, and comfortable lives. They have initiatives in place to assist disadvantaged individuals in numerous communities with programs that can reduce the burden of severe poverty while also empowering individuals to assist themselves.
The goal is not to create a society that sits and waits for aid but to show people that they can support themselves by teaching them a technique that allows them to use their inherent potential in a sustainable manner.
Their programs include assisting communities in designing and building modern schools that do not require expensive walls and roofs, but rather a place where students can gather and learn within a building that looks like where they are coming from, materials they are familiar with, and a system that allows them to cherish and access their indigenous wisdom. Another initiative includes drilling water wells and offering clean water to populations in need of water and teaching and supporting communities in digging more wells on their own.
