International Print Making Exhibition
February 18th – March 4th 2022
Soulful Resistance is the title of an Art exhibition that is currently taking place at the MODERN ART MUSEUM, Gebre-Kirstos Desta Centre. This-one-of-a-kind exhibition has brought artists and scholars together in the spirit of collaboration to express artistry and intellectuality as one vessel: a vessel that expresses and strengthens ideas that matter to Africa and beyond. These artists and scholars come from twenty-seven countries; twelve from Ethiopia and fifty-seven internationals including nine photographers and nine writers.
Hence, such an endeavou will further the culture of working together and could set an example for posterity and a way to strive towards excellence.
As such, our gratitude goes to the Artist who organized this event, Tamerat Siltan and all participating artists and intellectuals.We wish him and everyone participating good health and longevity and look forward to seeing more of this kind of inclusive undertaking.
