The fashion line is known for making unisex versatile hand-woven clothes by using traditional fabrics & techniques which are created by a team of skilled female weavers who are bringing the knowledge of their ancestors into the modern fashion market.
To sustain its business and to help Ethiopians in the fight against COVID 19, Mafi Mafi repurposed its manufacturing and has been producing facemasks since March.
Many artisans and weavers in the fashion value chain have been greatly affected since the pandemic started, and the launch of the new collection will enable Mafi Mafi to keep its employees and create even more job opportunities for the youth and women in Ethiopia.
