November has two very popular and important events that we highlight; the African Sourcing and Fashion Week (ASFW), which this year, with its 10-year milestone, promises to be one of a kind, full of surprises, and bursting with opportunities or business growth, creative collaboration, and global partnerships; and the annual Diplomatic Charity Bazaar which is also held in November, uniting local and international communities to raise funds for charitable activities in Ethiopia.
A looted ancient Ethiopian shield is being repatriated thanks to Prince Ermias and the Royal Ethiopian Trust (RET) a non-profit organization that preserves and promotes Ethiopian culture and education.
Our book review highlights the perils of human trafficking as author Elsabet Ademe documents her compelling journey to the West in her book Behind Sunrise.
