For miracles to happen, we must be open and willing to believe the possibility that magic still exists. My personal life is filled with miracles. Yours is too. It all depends on perspective. What is the color of the lens we look through? Pink or blue?
Teaching Yoga in Ethiopia is a dream-come true. I am living my dream, fulfilling my purpose and calling. Touching a wider community through yoga and poetry, gives me so tremendous hope and inspiration!
Despite what is trending in the media, WE are the masters of the moments in our lives! When we breathe deeply, we can act outside the default, with a little more compassion, empathy and patience.
Yoga transforms. It doesn’t instantly break old patterns, but the seeds planted can slowly grow, blossom and flourish into a new paradigm.
We can change, we can grow, we can transform! Let’s view every challenge as an opportunity for spiritual growth. Every set-back can be part of a playful dance, where at times we take two steps back, but still evolve in the art of living.
Assignment for the coming 21 days in December 2021: Take 30 minutes every day, (preferably early morning) to write down what you want to see, create manifest or build, by using your own unique skills and talents. Envision and plan what you can do in this lifetime in a tangible, practical way. Visualize how to live as an example and leave a legacy with our children and the next generation in mind, always centralizing love and gratitude, in a way that promotes peace and equal opportunities.
We are nothing but our most dominant thought. We are what we feel. Every time we smile, or when we embrace a loved one in a long, deep hug, the hormone Oxytocin is released from the brain. This is a chance to break free from a limiting, negative, narrative and an opportunity to expand our horizon, broaden our spectrum of experiences and enlarge our vision. Breathe & Smile!
