Turmeric is a widely known spice that comes from a rhizome belonging to the same family as ginger. It has been used in Ayurveda medicine and in the beauty industry for thousands of years. It is used in dye, culinary dishes including hair and skincare products as an active ingredient. The spice also provides protection against free-radical damage and chronic inflammation. It’s active (i.e., Curcumin) ingredient is rich in anti-depressant, anti-coagulant, analgesic, and antioxidant. It can be used as a preventive treatment for numerous health problems.

DIY powerful face mask to fight acne (fights acne bacteria, scars as well as tightens pores)

  • One teaspoon turmeric powder
  • one teaspoon lemon Juice 
  • One egg white 
  • ½ teaspoon olive oil
  • two-three drops of lavender oil or lemon oil (optional)

Mix it evenly and well, then apply on the face and neck thoroughly and leave it on for 20-30 minutes. 

Tips: – wash your face with lukewarm water, pat your face with a towel to dry your face, moisturize your skin with facial oil and massage your face 10-15 min.
